CPO
The Code of PLM Openness (CPO) is an internationally unique initiative for open IT systems that was launched by leading German automotive manufacturers together with the prostep ivip Association and which is now sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
To make it easier to evaluate the PLM providers and systems in the market, the prostep ivip Association has, with the active support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, established a legally regulated and accredited certification program that defines the test criteria for evaluating CPO compliance. The certificate confirms that the certified vendor has met these criteria.
PROSTEP AG has not only signed the voluntary agreement but is also one of the first companies to be certified according to the CPO. We attach great importance to compliance with the criteria for the openness and interoperability of IT systems in all PLM projects.
